First Meeting of the Board

Notice is hereby given to all interested members of the public that the Board of Commissioners of the Llano County Emergency Services District No. 5 will hold its initial public meeting at the Civic Center of Sunrise Beach Village, 124 Sunrise Drive, Sunrise Beach Village, Llano County, Texas 78643-9283 at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 16, 2023.

ESD Board Sworn In

On January 1, 2023 the newly appointed Commissioners of Emergency Service District 5 were sworn in by Judge Cunningham at the Llano County Courthouse. The Board isgetting started right away, with the first official meeting already scheduled for Monday, January 16, 2023.

The ESD Service Area

The boundary of Llano ESD 5 coincides with the existing Llano County Precinct 108. It includes the City of Sunrise Beach, Is familiar to the local VFD’s, and is already legally defined, eliminating the need for a new and costly survey. It also falls totally within the responsibility of one County Commissioner – currently Peter Jones who has been an advocate for the ESD.
